Discover the role iO Partners played in helping Tesco relocate to a state-of-the-art warehouse complex.
Multinational supermarket chain, Tesco had two separate warehouses in Hungary with significant frozen and chilled units. Seeking to consolidate these units, the market leader turned to iO Partners.
iO Partners’ dedicated tenant representation team started the process by conducting a thorough market analysis. A list of location options was compiled, and the team conducted due diligence on the potential sites.
From the shortlist, the team collaborated to create and issue a Request for Information (RFI) and a Request for Proposal (RFP) to potential landlords and developers. After receiving competitive offers, the team developed the technical description of the site for tendering. Furthermore, they actively participated in the negotiation process and oversaw the preparation of the lease.
With the support of iO Partners, Tesco successfully relocated to a central location with a building tailored to its business and operational needs. This achievement was facilitated by a built-to-suit agreement with the new premises' landlord. The new space is ideally located for efficiently supplying the Hungarian market and features a state-of-the-art warehouse complex.
