Q1 2024: Bucharest city report

After a GDP increase of 2.1% in 2023, the pace of economic growth in Romania is expected to pick up in 2024, with an estimated GDP growth of 3.4%, according to the national prognosis in February 2024. However, the EU Commission’s latest Economic Forecast presents a lower growth figure for Romania in 2024, of 2.9%.
