How iO Partners facilitated Zebra Technologies’ strategic relocation

Zebra Technologies, based in Technology Park Brno, had expanded significantly over the last few years, eventually running out of space to accommodate its growth. Its offices were spread across three different buildings, highlighting the need for a more cohesive, long-term solution. To address this challenge, Zebra Technologies enlisted the expertise of iO Partners.

To meet the company’s requirements, iO Partners collaborated with Zebra Technologies to verify its future space needs and conducted an in-depth analysis of the existing leases to fully understand the associated rights and obligations. This allowed the team to prepare a comprehensive business case strategy. A list of suitable alternatives was compiled, and a detailed timeline and strategy was developed. iO Partners was appointed as project management and assisted Zebra Technologies with a tailored workplace strategy.

iO Partners guided Zebra Technologies to a relocation strategy in the Vlněna project within Czechia’s city centre, where Zebra Technologies could enjoy one office space for its employees, supporting a new way of hybrid working. iO Partners was able to negotiate the prolongment of Zebra Technologies’ existing list and negotiate an attractive incentive package, as well as secure expansion rights, should they be required in the event of future business growth.
